A known sex offender was caught in Woodside on Wednesday night after reportedly making threats and exposing himself, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 8:45 p.m., deputies were called to a home on Martin Lane because people said a naked man was making threats against the people living there.
The Sheriff’s Office said that a guy was naked and had parked his car outside of a house. A resident thought the man was a delivery person and went up to him. The suspect is said to have exposed himself and started swearing, which the resident reported.
A short time later, the resident went up to the suspect’s car again, and the suspect is said to have threatened to shoot the resident.
An arrested 65-year-old guy from Mountain View is a known sex offender. Indecent exposure and making illegal threats were two of the charges that got him locked up at the Maguire Correctional Facility.
